The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower were a band from San Diego who mixed punk and jazz to create a very dynamic sound in the same vein as The Stooges or Refused. The band got their unusual name from a line in the book Lipstick Traces: A Secret History of the Twentieth Century. The Plot have since broken up and started other projects.
